Drumsagard In Bloom

Do you think you have a 'bloomin' lovely garden?

Spring is here and summers not far away and we’re looking forward to see lots of beautiful front gardens and floral displays again this year.

Following the success of Burnside’s garden initiative we hope to trial a similar venture. Our aim is to create a group of like-minded people who will take an interest in planting baskets and helping with small landscaping projects. It won’t take up a lot of time and the fruits of your labour will be very rewarding to you and the community. In the meantime to launch Drumsagard In Bloom we are holding our inaugural Drumsagard In Bloom contest which will be open to all Drumsagard Village residents. We will have four categories with a prize up for grabs in each.

  1. Best Front Garden
  2. Best Improved Garden
  3. Best hanging baskets or planters
  4. Largest Sunflower (Under 12 entry only)

The Greenbelt Group have kindly donated prizes and alongside the Cambuslang Allotment Group will hopefully be judging your displays. If you wish to enter your garden or sunflower into the contest fill out the application form below.

We will be judging your entries from the middle of July and the judges decision will be final, all entrants will be contacted nearer the time to ask for a photo of your Garden. (If you are entering the most improved front garden please have a picture of before ready)
